For the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, filmmakers Jake Boritt & Ira Meistrich created a stunning visual epic, which included aerial footage of what the Gettysburg battlefields look like today. Then they had an idea… What if a historically accurate number of Confederate and Federal troops were superimposed over the aerial footage to show key confrontations of the battle. That’s when they turned to 3Rings Media, to create the visual effects for their film, The Gettysburg Story. Included in this montage is:
- The buildup of Confederate & Federal troops in the days leading up to the battle
- General Sickle’s Attack
- Pickett’s Charge
