The routes of James and Dolley Madison are not exact and much of the evidence of where they stayed is circumstantial. Many of the stops along the two routes of the Madisons no longer exist or are privately owned. Development of the region in the twentieth century further impacted the historic integrity of the route. However, from the information we do have, and to the best of historians’ knowledge, this interactive experience covers the individual routes of escape taken by James and Dolley Madison.

[Please note: Although the design and implementation were completed, final assets were not provided by the client. Therefore the only stops, on each route, which display all the features are: (for James) Brookeville, Salona, Bladensburg and (for Dolley) Bellevue and Salona.]

Something just for fun — Fulfillment Frenzy is a game, which 3Rings created for Fulfillment Plus, Inc, that tests the players reflexes and coordination. The message: ‘Managing the order process, packing and timely shipping is an important part of our clients’ fulfillment program.’

When ‘Orders’ start dropping from randomly generated communication Devices, in ‘The Cloud’, the player tries to catch the Orders in the back of the Fulfillment Plus truck. The Devices and Orders drop faster and more frequently with each level of play. Play continues until an order is dropped.

This presentation is an edited version of a larger activity, provided as an example of the in-service training capabilities of 3Rings Media. Unlike many other education providers, 3Rings specializes in customizing each client’s training programs to meet their specific needs. As with every training activity we produce, 3Rings endeavors to incorporate video, audio, text and interactivity – in the form of outcomes assessment questions. A fun game devised to ‘edu-tain’ children with immune deficiencies, and their parents, about plasma-derived medication, it was part of a larger interactive initiative to demonstrate the high level of safety and quality that the manufacturer took when developing their products. In addition to scripting, directing, filming, editing, programming and producing the interactive video questionnaire, 3Rings Media provided Gail Sheehy with the ability to gather the data, presented in ‘spreadsheet’ format on an admin area of her site, as well as a mechanism to download selected data in editable documents such as Excel, Word and .rtf.
